NAAAP Colorado will partner with the Colorado Asian Culture and Education Network and the Bonfils Blood Center to organize a bone marrow drive for Jodie Gee, a Taiwanese American in need of a bone marrow transplant. Due to the lack of Asian American donors, NAAAP Colorado recognizes the need to spread education on the issue and encourage more donations. Please come to the bone marrow drive and help donate within minutes! We will also provide free boba drinks to the first 50 donors!

Celebrate Asian Pacific American Heritage Month this May at the first Joy of Living Film Club event by meeting members in the Asian American community, enjoying delicious foods, and ending the evening with a fun comedy that depicts the humorous side of Asian American families. Dinner will be Filiipino-style, provided by Tropical Grill Catering. Menu includes (but is not limited to): Lumpia (egg rolls), BBQ Chicken Skewers, Tropical Guacamole with Tortilla Chips, Tropical Fresh Fruit, Banana Lumpia drizzled with caramel and chocolate sauce.
The Joy of Living Film Club will provide a series of Asian American Cinema and Cuisine events
bringing various Asian American films and cuisines each quarter.
Jessica Yu’s Ping Pong Playa (2007) presents Chinese American, Christopher "C-dub" Wang, who lives at home, works a dead-end job, and squirms in the shadow of his older brother, Michael, a doctor and ping pong champion. With the National Golden Cock Tournament coming up and an injured Michael unable to defend his title, C-dub must become the player he pretends to be and defend his family's ping pong dynasty. www.pingpongplaya.com
